Sarah Nesbit is a Chicago based artist currently in Peoria, IL with the Prairie Center of the Arts residency. Education: Bachelors in Fine Arts from The University of Illinois – Chicago in 2000 and Masters in Fine Art from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 2005. She has exhibited both domestically and abroad with three solo shows and numerous group exhibitions. She spent 2008 – 2010 in Berlin, Germany working for a gallery there, had 3 groups shows and a 5 month long artist residency. Awards include: MFA Fellowship from SAIC, 3arts Fellowship for Ragdale Residency, Vermont Studio Fellowship and Residency. Her work was included in the new art museum - Peoria Riverfront Museum (2012).
