Sarah Nesbit is a Chicago based artist; Education: Bachelors in Fine Arts from The University of Illinois – Chicago in 2000 and Masters in Fine Art from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 2005. She has exhibited both domestically and abroad with three solo shows and numerous group exhibitions. She spent 2008 – 2010 in Berlin, Germany working for a gallery there, had 3 groups shows and a 5 month long artist residency. Awards include: MFA Fellowship from SAIC, 3arts Fellowship for Ragdale Residency, Vermont Studio Fellowship and Residency. For the last year, she has been working on a new body of work that will be shown at the Peoria Art Guild this March.
